First National Division (NFD) outfit TS Galaxy have advanced to the Nedbank Cup final after beating Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Golden Arrows 3-1 after extra time.
The two teams faced off on Saturday afternoon at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont, a township from Durban in the first Nedbank Semi-finals.
The match was closely contested throughout the encounter until Knox Mutizwa netted the first goal of the encounter.
In the 90th minute an own goal by midfielder Sandile Zuke meant the game had to be taken to extra time. A brace by Zakhele Lepasa in extra time gave TX Galaxy a 3-1 win.
Later tonight in the second Semi-final Chippa United will host Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs in the second semi-final.
