Police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested seven people for dealing in and manufacturing drugs at Durban’s Spring Field Park.
Seven suspects are in police custody and are expected to appear in court for the manufacturing and dealing in drugs.
“Investigation at this laboratory led our team to a house in Westville where they dictated more chemicals that used for the manufacture of mandrax tablets and further arrested another three people”, Naidoo confirmed.
Police spokesperson Vishnu Naidoo said the operation is estimated to be worth over R50m adding that they also found equipment and chemicals used to manufacture Mandrax.
